Good Protection/Not Practical 3 stars

Knox is awesome protection. I purchased this from Amazon because I live in Hawaii. It's hot here and when you are stuck or stopped anywhere you melt. Thinking it would be protection I would use everyday it is still hanging in my closet. Why? Because it is a pain to get on and more of a pain to take off. It takes two to remove especially if you are a little sweaty. The added friction of your sweat will ensure you do the silly dance trying to remove it from your skin. Mesh: yes it is cool but after paying 200+ dollars for something you are sure to be careful not to destroy it when trying to get it off your body, it feels like your fingers will tear right through the mesh. Air does flow and that part is awesome. I have worn it under my T-shirt (Amazing airflow!) I have worn it under my RS-Taichi Jacket (after taking the armor out of it) And it's great cause it keeps the pads in place! For the occasional mountain ride or sunday ride it will make you happy but not practical for everyday use.
