Some MV102 vests are made of leather and others are made of heavy denim. This style doesn't use any side laces. I ordered three of these vests all in size large (1 is leather & 2 are cotton denim) and since I usually wear a size 40, sizing up to 42 insured that these vests would fit me perfectly.A lot of thought went into designing these heavier weight motorcycle vests and they are a real bargain for the low asking price when compared to some other vests of lesser quality that sell for a higher price. For example, all of these vests are satin lined, and the leather vests are constructed entirely of leather -- that's the entire front and the entire back panel are leather, and they are built to perfection with no observable flaws.I took the advice from several other reviewers who mentioned sizing up one size, and I would even add that if you take pride in having a bit of a beer gut then you should probably consider upping two sizes bigger than normal. The reason for that is because JAFRUM is very generous with the pockets they have provided on these MV102 vests, and if you wish to use those pockets at all, then you will need to have some extra space for them, up front.Yes, lots of pockets. I counted no less then 5, and these pockets are conveniently placed. There are two open-top pockets outside and three more pockets inside. The two big pockets inside have their openings at the center opening edges of the vest. There is plenty of space inside these pockets and they each have a snap closure that holds everything in. The big pocket on the left has a convenient internal partition that is probably intended for fastening down the contents and to help prevent sliding around, and the pocket on the right has an additional zippered pocket, a secure place for carrying a phone.In my opinion, JAFRUM has really got it together with their inventory of quality products, and I'm sure to get lots of good service out of these MV102 vests that have proven to be absolutely perfect for me.

My vest arrived 3 days ago and I must say that I am very very surprised by the quality of this vest. To be perfectly honest, for $30 I wasn't expecting something so nice! Vest fits great and looks great! Do make sure that you measure your chest and add 2" for correct sizing. If you have a larger belly you may want to go by that measurement instead of the chest, I would contact seller to be sure though. The vest is very stiff, but that is pretty common for new leather products. I expect that the vest will loosen up after a week or so of wearing. I also find it helpful to "break in" the leather by "crushing" it to speed up the process and save yourself some painful chaffing at the neck. Can't wait until it's warm enough to wear it on my bike! Great buy from a great seller!

Whether ridin' or rolling in my rig, this vest holds up with the best of the. I have spent twice as much for an inferior product. Jafrum has reasonable pricing and consistently ships fast. Life is hard on the road--this vest holds up.
