Quality item for good price

I got this vest for my old man. He loves it. This vest isn't as heavy as shipping description (24 pounds it said - no way!) claimed, but it is a good durable vest, fits great, it does have ten pockets which is useful when riding. It is a good product for a fair price. The shipping is slower than on some other items but it got here before estimated delivery date. It's been worn daily for a few months now and it holds up very well.

Impressive quality for the price!

I just got the vest today, and was amazed by the quality. For the price, I expected a thin leather vest with a thin liner and pockets that might last a couple seasons. Instead I received a vest made of thick, quality leather, with a very nice lining, and pockets made of thick sturdy material inside. I have a leather biker jacket that I bought 27 years ago, and is still in great shape because it was a quality item that I took good care of, I fully expect this vest to last me at least as long. I would have been willing to pay more if I'd known the quality of what I was getting. At first I was leary of buying a vest online, now I'm very glad I did, and that this is the one I chose.I went over every inch of the vest after taking it out of the package, from checking the stitching, the wight of the fabric and leather, the zippers and the leather thongs that lace the sides. I don't think you could get any better quality for the price, and I wouldn't hesitate to by anything made by Hot Leathers in the future.The description states that sizing may run small. I normally wear a 38R, and the medium is just a tiny bit loose on me with the laces tightened all the way in. I don't see it having any problem fitting over any shirt I may wear, even a heavy hooded sweatshirt. I imagine that if you were right on the border of the size, you might want to go up a size, but the medium fit me just right.

great vest.

Order one size bigger. Vest has lots of pockets for everything from pocket watch to cell phone. Conceal carry inside pockets on both left and right inside of vest that will accommodate any pistol from full size Beretta to Glock 17. I would like to see it in brown. For the price you can't beat it!
