I live in State College PA. in a mild climate most of the riding season but there are times when the temp gets well over 85 degrees I wear a wicking base layer all year to manage moisture I was somewhat hesitant to purchase this jacket because it said cold weather jacket but I like the 3/4 length style and when I got it I was shocked at the features and tech that went into the design,first of all pockets,pockets and more pockets so I can carry most of my gear in my jacket and not in my pants pockets for a more comfortable ride,the collar has a soft material around the inside,the collar is adjustable for a good fit to keep bugs and air out,very good shoulder pads,elbow pads with adjustments above the pad and back pads,adjustable velcro waist straps so the jacket won'nt ride up getting on and off the bike,air vents front and back for good air flow,inside chest pocket which is located on the outside of the zipper and storm flap so I don'nt have to unzip to reach my iphone,two nice size waist pockets with velcro storm closures to keep moisture out,two hand warming pockets, a large rear pocket to put my lunch in for work,zipper,velcro,and snap closure system and adjustable wrist closures.Now for the best part what ever the membrane is made of, this Jacket keeps me warm in the winter and really cool in up to 90 degree weather,I love the cool style and the way you can adjust it to fit,when I put it on after I got the adjustments right the jacket and pads do not move or shift which is a plus in the event of a crash, the color is a solid black with a few tags here and there,the striping on the back and front have reflective properties and the material is stitched together really well,I feel safe with this jacket on,now if I could find some riding pants that adjust to fit like this I would be sooooo happy! So don't let the description "Cold Weather Jacket" scare you off,this jacket is the bomb in any kind of weather! Make sure you get a long sleeve moisture wicking shirt I use Under Amour.
