Incredible bang for your buck jacket.

I am new to motorcycle riding and this was my first jacket purchase. I am now commuting 60 miles round trip to work and wanted something to offer some protection. I'm on a tight budget which means I needed an "all season" jacket as I can't afford a summer and winter jacket. Due to me being a bigger guy, I also wanted something fairly sporty without looking like spandex that would rise up my torso everytime I tucked. The Scorpion XDR Assault is the absolute PERFECT jacket for me.Fit and finish on this thing is amazing! I'm kind of a jacket guy, and I have some other casual jackets that have cost as much or more than the XDR. The XDR has as good or better finish than most of them, despite being nearly half the cost. The zippers work great, even the small ones which are usually the problematic kind. But they have worked great so far. I love the numerous pockets, more than I've needed...but you can never have too many pockets I guess. I'm sure I'll find need for them eventually. The good thing about them is they vary in size from small to pretty big on the front, so you don't have to cram anything and feel it pressed against your body.The vents function well enough. I guess I was expecting to feel a ton of air flowing through the jacket, as if it were a mesh jacket. It doesn't flow a ton, but you can definitely feel the air moving once you are above about 30 MPH. I can tell you that in the hot Arizona sun, I actually stay cooler with this jacket on than off. Keeping the sun's radiation off you keeps you cooler and allows your sweat to cool with the airflow instead of evaporating too quickly. With the vents open I've kept cool and dry in 100 degree weather on my 30 minute ride.I took a ride up my local mountain, about a 12 mile trip one way. It started pouring rain half way up, and of course I had removed the waterproof liner. Without the liner, you will obviously get wet around all the zippers and openings. The next afternoon I made the same trip, still in the rain, but this time with the liner installed. I stayed completely dry, so much that I was pretty amazed. It was about 55 degrees and raining and with the waterproof liner and thermal liner I was nice and warm.As far as sizing goes, I'm 6'00" and weigh 260 lbs. I have large shoulders, and now thanks to marriage a little bit of a gut. I typically wear an XL in normal t-shirts, sometimes a XXL for designer clothes. I have a 46 suit which fits snug, and a size 50 suit which is pretty big. I wear 38" jeans. I chose the XXL size which was advertised for 46-48 chest size. With both liners in this things fits perfect! I wouldn't change anything about it. I could probably squeeze a sweat shirt underneath for really cold weather. With the liners removed, it fits a bit more "relaxed" (not to the point of being baggy though) but I guess I prefer that for letting more air flow during hot weather.As far as the seller (Toro Leather) I was blown away! I thought about paying $25 more to order from one of the larger motorcycle outfitters in hopes of getting it quicker. Amazon had a note that this seller may take an extra 2-3 days to process my order and I wanted it for the weekend. But Toro was amazing. I ordered late on a Monday night, so technically the order didn't even get placed until Tuesday morning. The jacket was on my door by Thursday afternoon! Don't hesitate ordering from them, and don't hesitate on this jacket. I couldn't be happier.
