By BG
As in the other review I agree with them that this is a well made and thought out Motorcycle Touring Jacket design. It is solid construction with good protection and soft material at rub spots like the neck and wrists. Plenty of pockets nicely positioned for access and not feel bulky when you store things in them. There are so many parts to this jacket and layers that I still haven't figured them all out yet. You can take out the liners and zip open panels to have the protection of the jacket but with plenty of air flowing through in warmer weather.I also agree with the other review that the jacket size is on the small size. Based on their review I ordered a size up from my normal size and I still find it snug. I prefer a lose fitting tour jacket that I don't feel constricted in on the long ride. The jacket is getting a little loser as I break it in, but I might have been happier if I went even one more size larger. If you have never bought a jacket that has armor like this one, you will be surprised by the over all weight of the jacket. Still it does seem a little lighter to other armor jackets I've worn and feels even less once you are wearing it. That means a good design for distributing the weight of the jacket. One feature on the jacket I don't care for is the straps on the sleeve cuffs. They have big tabs to make it easier to grab while wearing gloves. I understand why they did it, but the tabs get in the way of a good seal between the glove and the cuff. I have a nice pair of insulated leather gloves that work well on my Goldwing heated grips but the cuff on the gloves is short. The tabs don't allow my gloves to have a good seal. I have heavier gloves with big cuffs that would solve this problem but I prefer wearing the lighter gloves because they allow me better feel for the controls like GPS, lights, radio, etc. Another way to solve this problem is to wear wrist warmers, but with all that went into the design of this jacket they could have done a better job on this part of the jacket.Buying this jacket was/is a big investment in my inventory of motorcycle gear and the sticker price was a tough one to swallow. Especially in light that I have a number of motorcycle jackets but I'm always looking for the perfect jacket for the long ride in all weather in Northern New England. I don't have any regrets in buying this jacket and I think the jacket and I will find our comfort point for those long cold rides that I haven't achieved with the jackets I already own.

By T. Wesley
This is simply an amazing bit of motorcycle gear - versatile, well thought out and perfectly engineered and constructed. However, the sizing is off by at least a factor of 1, if not more. My suggestion is if you wear XL, order at least 2XL if not 3. It's not the arms, chest or gut - it's the shoulders, which are far too narrow for comfort.
