I've had this jacket for about 4 years and I can testify that it very well constructed, versatile, and durable and made with thick, quality leather (maybe even too much leather since it weighs about 6-8 lbs =0). I would still use this Jacket today if it' wasn't for the poor quality of the hardware. Nearly every zipper tab has broken off which isn't a big deal since the smaller ones can be fixed. However the main zipper broke apart while on a ride and I was stuck in the jacket for the rest of the trip (not fun when the temps got back up into the 70's) until I was able to get to my tools. The metal loop that holds the pull tab came off of the zipper body so it is not repairable or replaceable which is a shame because otherwise I could have seen getting many more years out of this jacket.

zippers all broke and last month the stitching came apart. I'd hate to think what that would have meant if I went down in it.
