Pretty nice

Here's the breakdown:Pros:- Looks great- Accurate sizing- Nice and flexible for how thick the materials are- Good construction- Good pockets with big zippers (the tassels on the zippers make them easy to use with gloves on, a nice touch)Cons:- No hard armor- Doesn't protect the neck from wind, bugs, etc.(I still give it 5 stars since these cons are obvious from the start)Honorable mentions:- Best for "cool" weather, not cold or hotOne of the main reasons I got this jacket is just that I've always loved the look of these types of jackets, although they look more at home on a cruiser or a chopper, which isn't what I ride.I ordered a bit larger than my chest measurement (44, my chest is a little over 38) for a couple reasons:1. Just to be sure it would fit and I wouldn't have to send it back, and2. Other jackets I've owned have fit great even though their listed chest measurements were much larger than mine.It turns out this jacket is pretty true to size, so it's a bit bigger on me than it really should be, but it's still OK, since it leaves some room for extra layers underneath.Speaking of layers, this is kind of a fall/spring jacket. It stays perfectly warm riding down to about 60 degree weather, but below that you'll feel the air cooling down and probably around 50-55 degree weather you'll want a put a sweater on underneath when you're riding. At 45 degrees and below, just get a winter jacket.The construction seems pretty sturdy, the leather is thick and feels like it would stand up in a fall, which is my ultimate criterion for a jacket. I haven't taken a fall, and I hope never to give this jacket the "ultimate test". There is no hard armor in the jacket though, so it doesn't give you much in the way of impact protection, just abrasion protection.This is my first motorcycle jacket, since I've just gotten into riding, and now that I know a bit more, I'd probably look for one with hard armor for that extra protection next time I'm in the market for a jacket, but that's not a knock against this jacket since I knew from the get-go that it didn't have any.This jacket is as much about looking cool as it is about warmth and protection. There are probably better jackets for practical reasons, but this jacket does its job just fine.
