I ordered the jacket for use in rain during warm weather. I deliberately selected a size larger than I normally wear in the hope that the jacket would be large enough to cover my duty weapon and taser, as well as allowing the uniform insignia to show through, thus replacing the long heavy yellow raincoats typically worn by officers. The jacket is clear, showing whatever is being worn underneath. There is a zipper closure, along with velcro. It is water resistant so far. The only beef I have is that it seems to run small. Order at least one size larger than you normally would.
